NSCLC therapy options after first-line treatment

Fewer than 50% of patients in clinical trials received second-line treatment 1 - 3

Maintenance therapy is active treatment immediately after first-line cytotoxic chemotherapy when there has not been tumor progression4

  • Maintenance therapy following first-line treatment allows patients to continue to actively fight their disease.4
  • Patients who only have a limited response to first-line chemotherapy may benefit the most from maintenance therapy.5
  • Maintenance therapy may delay disease progression to help patients maintain daily living.4

Traditional treatment approaches for advanced NSCLC include a treatment break1
